The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) turned in the world's largest festival and business conference for electronic music. With over 2500 artists from around the globe performing in 140 of the best clubs in Amsterdam, where do you go as a visitor? We did some research and found Gigstarter artists spinning their records at a couple of the greatest parties during the week. For every ADE day we highlight an event you must definitively visit. And some first advice from the Gigstarter team: don't forget to sleep a couple of hours in between.
Wednesday 17 October - Kicking of with EDM talent

Let’s kick off this special week with the Dutch Gigstarter act Maryn who is is opening the Maxximize Label Night. He is been working in the studio for a while and those tracks will get their debut during the night!
Expect a lot of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) tracks during this evening with the owner of the Maxximize label, Blasterjaxx, as an absolute headliner. A perfect way to start the ADE week in one of the most poplar clubs in Amsterdam: Club NYX.
Thursday 18 October - A night of disco in Disco Dolly

So you survived your first ADE night and the EDM tracks are still fresh in your memory. But today it’s time for some electrifying disco on the dance-floor. In the notorious club Disco Dolly Gigstarter artist HUGS will play the tunes you jealously want in your Spotify playlist, but you'll never find. Legends of the scene, Prins Thomas and DAVID VUNK, are completing the line up and let you dance until Friday morning.

Do you want to combine all the water in Amsterdam with a good party? After the huge success of last year’s sold out 300 capacity boat party, Kryder returns with an exciting capacity to 600 and featuring a great line up of DJs. Gigstarter DJ Savio Damiano will also be there!

The closing day of ADE. Congratulations, you almost survived it. The best way to cater the needs of a throbbing hangover is to indulge yourself in fine tunes, great food and craft beers at this event on the enourmous NDSM warphe. The afternoon is perfect for a stroll around the dozens of stalls that Discogs sets up for Crate Diggers and vinyl lovers. Definitely don’t forget to check out the larger than life art installations scattered around the terrain. Detox your body in the hot tubs or sauna, hang out near a fireplace and bring out your inner child at the arcade. Live bands and DJs will set the mood from a mellow afternoon to an upbeat evening!
