Back to the 1600's
Originally, Celtic music comes from the countries of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We can describe it as a kind of folk music with a special melody, rhythm and lyrics. Have you already heard about Irish bands such as the The Dubliners or Clannad? They became famous back in the 1970s and helped to give a worldwide exposure to Celtic music throughout the years. You can also recognize instruments used like violin, lute, flute, bagpipe, harp and several other commonly heard instruments.
