In an email interview with IANS he stated that the club scene in the Netherlands offers great opportunities for aspiring young DJs to kick off their careers. Even the Dutch King William- Alexander went on stage at an Armin Van Buuren concert in 2013, celebrating his coronation as monarch.
That is where the music industry in the Netherlands stands now. A lot of party’s lead to a lot of musicians with whom come opportunities like coaching classes, DJ schools, or mentoring programs. The Netherlands is backed by a skilled tech-savvy, multilingual Dutch workforce, with a great digital infrastructure, as well as an innovative and open culture. Furthermore, the Netherlands has a strong sense of openness and internationalism in society, which contributes to bringing music across borders.

Talent, Innovation, open-mindedness and influence are the main forces for the success of Dutch DJ’s in the music industry. Of course, the affiliation with music could also be traced to what Armin Van Buuren said in an Interview with Philadelphia magazine in 2015 “It’s something in the milk”.
