Direct Requests
A direct request is a way to approach a specific band, solo or DJ for a Gig. You can place a request at a certain artist by clicking on the button check availability and sending the details of your event. The musician will respond to your request via the Gigstarter chatsystem. If the artist starts the conversation, you will receive an e-mail to notify you.
Placing an request via Gigstarter is 100% free. Artists do not have to pay any fees to answer your inquiry, therefore everyone who books artists through Gigstarter is ensured a great price.
You can place a direct request by an artist by clicking on the button check availability on an artist's personal profile. Enter your e-mail address, phone number and message. You can choose to add extra information such as your name, the occasion, place and date of the event and a description of the available equipment on the location. On the next page you can indicate if you need extra services such as sound equipment or light installation. Lastly, you can submit your request. A submitted form will be send directly to the artist.
